Formula help : Sort by number range and then allocate different coloured cells

Hello to all, this is my first post.

I have tried googling the results, but just found myself getting more confused.

I have been trying to use an excel formula to calculate my stock markdowns in my store, using the stock numbers as a range, then applying a colour to that cell to match that range.

ie 12+ Months old 0 to 350000 Marked as Red
9-12 M/o 350001 to 370000 Marked as Orange
6-9 M/o 370001 to 380000 Marked as Green
3-6 M/o 380001 to 390000 Marked as Yellow
1-3 M/o 390001 to 400000 Marked as Blue

Hope that explains what I am trying to do, any help would be greatly appreciated.

what conditions you are looking for:
1) >12 AND 0 TO 350000 MARK AS RED
2) >12 OR 0 TO 350000 MARK AS RED

if you can attach a sample attachment of your data or provide data in tabular format, it would be more easy for me to solve this query.
