Before I a start reading more about the subject..

    Hello smart excelguys ,

My boss told me to make an excelsheet with a little matrix for a exceltabel.

Before I start searching on the internet and renting books, can any of you tell me if this even is possible to do?

I have a table looking like this:

    1-20 5
    21-30 10
    31-50 20

What my boss want me to do is a table if I type in a number in A1 between 1-20 the number in B1 says 5, and if the number in A1 is between 21-30 the number in B1 says 10... And if you hadn't guest the last part here.. If I type in the number between 31-50 it says 20.

Is it even possible to make an fomular that do this?

Hi, and welcome to the forum.

Unfortunately your post does not comply with Rule 1 of our Forum RULES. Your post title should accurately and concisely describe your problem, not your anticipated solution. Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.
To change a Title on your post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.

I have no idea where the edit button is.

I'll make a new post, and you can delete this one.
