    Remove numbers from alphanumeric string. No standard format to the string.

    Hi everyone! Thank you for looking at my question. I have searched around but the answers found look to not work for my issue. I need to pull just the shift time from an associates schedule...

    Example of the different formats of the shift descriptions pulled from reporting... They are all over the place and changing the description in the database is not an option(wish it was).

    Mon - Fri 15:30 - 24:00
    Su - Mo , Fr - Sa 16:30 1:00
    Mon-Fri 0630-1500
    W,F,Sa 0730-1800 Thu 0730-1230
    Sun 0730-1800; Sat 0700-1730
    Sun-Wed 0630p-0500a

    I already have this formula extracting the days scheduled...
    =LEFT(BA2,MIN(FIND({"0","1","2","3","4","5","6","7","8","9"},BA2&"0123456789"))-1)

    If anyone has a solution i would appreciate it greatly.

    I bet you get better help if you add an excel file, without confidentional information.

    If you also added the desired result, it would be great.

    Please see attached... I would like BB to have the shift hours minus the days worked. Also if possible schedules starting from 0500- 1000 be days and 1500-2300 be Nights in column AT. Thank you so much for all the help!!Copy of ef227_Test.xlsm

    I thougt maybe, with text to column, but i don't see any logic in the data (i can't help you with this item).

    Maybe datavalidation will help you in the future.

    It will be helpful to go further and understand the logic if you mention the expected output also (for atleast 10 rows-Highlight it in different color for time being).

    Awesome! Works great... with some it will only filter the first set of text such as a shift description such as...

    W,F,Sa 0730-1800 Thu 0730-1230 will display 0730-1800 Thu 0730-1230
