Define a range of fixed number of columns, but unlimited number of rows

I apologize in advance if this is a basic level question, but I'm struggling to find a quick and easy answer. I'm looking to define a range that's a specific number of columns wide, but with no bounds on the number of rows. Basically, as many rows that are in the sheet, I want the range to cover them.

Am I missing something obvious on how to create this range?

Thank you in advance for any help.

    ccopac,

    Welcome to the forum!
Assuming you wanted the columns to be C:J, something like this should work for you

    tigeravatar,

Thank you for the welcome and the reply.

I mistakenly left out of my original post that I was hoping to do it with an inline range definition.

I think I may have found something that will do what I need, in a separate thread here.

I've modified it slightly to apply to my situation, but if I'm understanding it right, this should define a range from A1 to the last non-empty cell in column J.

    ccopac,

Yes, that is correct, assuming that column J contains contiguous data (no blank cells from J1 to J(end)). That is called a Dynamic Named Range.
