Multiple Related Data Validations

I have a list that has two columns. Resources and Assigned project. Some people are assigned to more than one proejct. On another worksheet i want to have 1 pull down for the project names and the 2nd to only show people assigned to that project.

So what happens if the source list is unsorted, or the sorting changes? Right now i have it sorted by proejct, but it could easily be changed to view by the resource name.

In drop down the unsorted data will not show in A-Z series which will be frustrating when selecting the data in drop down.

Alright i read both pages, pretty sure i followed it, but i just can't get it to work. Could someone get it working in my example so i can play with it?

I see you made the column headers the projects. I don't really have that option with my spreadsheet. is it possible to do this without moving my data around?
