    Index function with multiple outputs

    OK I have a workbook with three sheets. Sheet1 CellB is where I need my a counter. The formula must look at the zipcodes on Sheet3 and refer them to Sheet2. If they are found on Sheet2 then it needs to add 1 to the counter. So in my example workbook it would look at Chicago, zipcode 22222, and refer that against Sheet2. The zipcode is found in both Dallas and Elgin. Then on Sheet1 Column B it should add 1 to both Elgin and Dallas. Copy of Book1.xlsx

    Okay.. and this 1 is the serial number (just the counter) or you mean it is taken up from C1 cell of sheet 3 ?
