Matching Unique numbers if a Group of cells

    Hello,

I have been trying to search for a simple answer to this but at the moment I'm stuck.

I have 4 cells each with a range of numbers representing days of the week.

    For example in D1 12345
    D2 1
    D3 456
    D4 17

I need a formula that can list these as one figure removing any duplicates so the the above example the resulting figure should be
    1234567

Is this possible ot do I need to go to VBA to achieve this.

THanks for taking the time to look.

    Regards

    David

    Hi

One way is using text to columns to split the numbers in different cells and then using formulas get the result.

But this needs extra columns. Are you interest for something like this?

    Hi Fotis,

Thanks for the help again, what I should have mentioned was that the 4 numbers are variable. But your spitting into columns idea helped. I used the attached which seems to work.

    Thanks Again

    You are welcome David.

The only point that i noticed in your solution is that if you put in cells A1:D1, a number that is bigger than the biggest number of the range, then does not work. I mean if you put 8 OR 9 in these cells..

But maybe this isn't problem for you.

Cool Re: Matching Unique numbers if a Group of cells

No, this won't be an issue as 7 will be the highest number as they represent days of the week.
