Conditional Formatting with multiple lists referring to each other

I have created 2 worksheets: 1) with spreadsheet I am looking to populate with drop-down lists in column B & C, and 2) the metrix worksheet containing the various data sets. Beginning w/ Metric Worksheet. I created a Category Column with the heading Metric. I created columns C-J as data sets which when any item in column A (Metric) is clicked, a subset list is shown.

Now - on the #1 spreadsheet, I successfully generated a name reference and can populate Column B "Metric Name" with a drop down list showing the categories from "Metric" A1:A11. The 2nd column, however, I cannot generate the 2nd list which should take whatever metric is entered and display a secondary drop-down list. (this works on the Metric worksheet, but how do I transfer that to worksheet1 to include all of the data sets?)

Uisng INDIRECT in the 1st sheet should work fine. The problem is that your descriptive phrases,
eg: Customer Service do not match the relevant defined name for the dependent DV, eg: CustomerSvc

If you change it to match, ie change: Customer Service to: CustomerSvc
then the dependent DV in col C should work ok [example: =INDIRECT(B6) for the DV in C6]
