    Question Lookup Problem

    Hi,

    I have a spread sheet with data in the example of;

    COLA COLB

    Place1 Y
    Place1 N
    Place2 Y
    Place1 Y
    Place1 N
    Place3 Y
    Place1 Y

    In a separate Tab I have the Places i.e

    Place1
    Place2

    I would like to count the Y or N for each please, any ideas?

    Try with COUNTIFS.
