Comparing attendance occurrences with rolling periods

Hello,

I am trying to create a formula that compares occurrences between two possible attendance plans, one for a rolling year and one for a rolling 6 month period. The sample shows the date of the occurrence, the look back date for 12 months and 6 months, the occurrence received and the total points under plan 1 vs plan 2.

I cannot get the formula to look back at twelve months from the date of the recent occurrence to calculate the total occurrences on that date. For example I included a chart below that shows what I was expecting the formula to calculate. Any suggestions?

lol sorry, i cannot for the life of me figure out what you are trying to do? seems you are trying to sum points that occurred 6 - and 18 - months before the date you are searching for? but there are no dates before the date you are searching for (at least, for the 1st row?)

See attached. You have to reset the formula for every change in user. If you want it to automatically do that you'd be better off with a macro (I can help you with that)
