Display last text value depending on another cell

I have attached an example spreadsheet showing what I need help with.

To try to explain it, I need to look up the last value for each person listed in another column. So, the people's names will repeat down one column and may or may not have text in the adjacent column. I need to display the last text value adjacent to each person's name.

    John Half
    Steve
    Joe
    John
    Joe Half
    Joe
    Steve Done
    Matt
    John Done
    Steve

    Table:
    John:
    Steve:
    Joe:
    Matt:

    Thanks

Thank you. That worked very well. Now I am realizing that I need something a little different. I forgot that I needed to be able to look for the text in more than one column. I cant explain it very well so just see the attached file.
