Updating cells when a different name in a Data Validation list is selected

This is my first post! (the start of many I hope)

I was wondering whether it was possible to change to the relevant cells in a worksheet when a different name is selected from a Data Validation List.

At the moment, I have "Name 1", "Name 2" "Name 3" in a Data Validation list. In the same sheet, I have created a table for them to input data (i.e. no of calls taken, no. of complaints etc). If possible, I'd like the data in the table to change to the relevant Person's data automatically, when this name is selected from the drop down list.

Thanks alot dude - please see attached. The Data Validation list is in cell C4. At the moment there is no data in the boxes beneath it, but once it is populated I'd like to see the relevant data for each person in the drop down list

Thanks - I wouldn't like to limit the values that the users would enter - the sheet I am working with is populated with numbers that will change every day!

I think the link you sent me consists of info that relates to limiting what users can enter into the sheet.

Apologies for constantly replying, I just thought I'd explain the problem a little clearer!

Is it possible to see different data depending on the name that is selected in the Data Validation list that I have?

At the moment, I have People's names in the Data Validation list (Cell C4 in the sample sheet attached).

On the same sheet, I have created a table for them to input data (i.e. no of calls taken, no. of complaints etc). If possible I'd like the sheet to show the relevant data for the relevant name chosen in the Data Validation list - i.e at the moment when I select a different name in the Data Validation list, the cells do not change depending on that name. The cells remain as they were previously.

E.g in the sample sheet attached, to see the problem please choose a different name in the data validation list, and you will still see the same numbers. Ideally I'd like the cells to contain different numbers depending on who is chosen from the list.
