    #Div/0! generated by formula

Following on from my previous post!

This is the formula I am using to find the average.

    =SUM(T4,H4,L4,P4,X4,AB4,AF4,AJ4)/INDEX(FREQUENCY((T4,H4,L4,P4,X4,AB4,AF4,AJ4),0),2)

It is generating #Div/0! when all the referenced cells are blank, 0 or contain text.

    Help please!

    Re: #Div/0! generated by formula

why are you using frequency? surely the average is
    SUM(T4,H4,L4,P4,X4,AB4,AF4,AJ4)/8
    oh i see
well if all text or 0 you will get #div/0 to hide it put
    =IF(SUM(T4,H4,L4,P4,X4,AB4,AF4,AJ4)=0,0,SUM(T4,H4,L4,P4,X4,AB4,AF4,AJ4)/INDEX(FREQUENCY((T4,H4,L4,P4,X4,AB4,AF4,AJ4),0),2))
