Sorry if this is somewhere else but I have been over a million posts and tried all the ones that sounded like my problem only to find none of them work for my spreadsheet.
I am pretty sure this is a MAX function but I am obviously not doing something right with it.
What I need is this:
B3 to = whichever product is greater (c3*d3) (e3*f3)

Try this:
=MAX(C3*D3,E3*F3)
