Auto Fill cell with Text Based on Colour of Text in another Cell Excel 2007

I have used conditional formatting to change the font colour in one cell (K22) depending on the initials that are used. I need the adjacent cells (L22 to O22) to change to the same font colour. Can you please help with this? I believe I might need to do this via formulae within the cells, but not sure.
Also, if there are merged cells in the row, will it make a difference?

Not sure how you applied CF for the 1st cell. but for the 2nd cell, you can apply the same logic, excpet that after you select "new rule", select "use formula" and enter the formula there

if you still have a problem, upload a sample workbook for me to help you with

To Attach a File:

1. Click on Go Advanced
2. In the frame Attach Files you will see the button Manage Attachments
3. Click the button.
4. A new window will open titled Manage Attachments - Excel Forum.
5. Click the Browse... button to locate your file for uploading.
6. This will open a new window File Upload.
7. Once you have located the file to upload click the Open button. This window will close.
8. You are now back in the Manage Attachments - Excel Forum window.
9. Click the Upload button and wait until the file has uploaded.
10. Close the window and then click Submit.

edit: depending on how you have merged, it may make things more complex. as a rule of thumb, it is better to try and aviod merge, and use format/alignment/horizontal/center across selection

1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

Thanks for the response. I have attached my draft document. The idea is for the person to enter their initials in columns k22 to k26 and depending on the initials, the date and details should change colour accordingly.

Thanks very much for your help.
