Calculating Loans.

Hi guys I have an assigment where I need to calculate the following;

Number of Loans
Highest Amount Financed
Lowest Amount Financed
Total Amount Financed

I was wondering what are the most common formulas for calculating loans?

For example total Amount of finance taking place in cell: F6 to F14 (I have to sum 9 cells and each of them have different $)
which formula i'm supposed to use ? Also it would be great to know formulas for calculating lowest , highest amounts.
