autosum from 2 different sheets with rules

what i am trying to do is if sheet 2 'number' (column a) matches sheet 1 'number' (column a) then autosum all of sheet 1 'total' (column aa) and put it in sheet 2 'total' (column c)
my end result will need to be sheet 2 'number 1 total' =349.
The formula which i am using is autosuming all of sheet 1 'total'
any help would be greatful
