Determine End Date that omits weekends and holidays

    Hi All

I am trying to create a production schedule and am having trouble working out a formula that provides an end date that does not fall on a weekend or holiday.

I have attached the draft file that I am trying to work through. Column C contains the accurate start date based on the a formula that starts 14 weeks from the end date - this (through the help of this forum) takes into account the omission of weekends and holidays. Holidays are noted in Column G.

What I need is to take the Date in column C, add to it the number is column B, and have the result appear in column D. The result needs to be a next available date "workday - Mon-Fri" that is not a Sat/Sun nor is it a holiday based on the provided schedule.

Any support or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

    try this in cell D3:

CSE, aka Array aka { }, formulae are confirmed with CONTROL+SHIFT+ENTER.
Replace commas ( , ) with semicolons ( ; ) in formulae, if your locale setting demands.
All good ideas are courtesy resources from this forum as well as others around the web.
