    Calculating hours worked beyond midnight

    Hello again

    I cant figure out how to calculate a shift that would go beyond midnight....for example a start time of 21:00 end time of 07:00.

    Thanks,

    Merry Xmas!

    Hi

    You need to format your cellls in [h]:mm format you have hh:mm at the moment the square brackets are important.

    How about...

    =((C2+(C2<B2))-B2)

    C2 = End Time
    B2 = Start Time
    HTH

    Thanks for the feedback and you are very welcome. We are both very glad to have helped.

    Not sure I fit in the math wizard category, I just pay attention to the offerings of those much smarter than I.
