    Nim error

    Hi,

I had written this formula to eliminate blank spaces and display only numerical values. However I am getting this "#NUM ERROR". Can I get help on this?

    FORMULA:

    =IF(ROWS(B$1:B5)>COUNTA('process standards LHS'!$E$5:$E$500),"",INDEX(('process standards LHS'!$E$5:$E$500),SMALL(IF('process standards LHS'!$E$5:$E$500<>"",ROW('process standards LHS'!$E$5:$E$500)-ROW('process standards LHS'!$E$5)+1),ROWS(B$1:B5))))

    Re: Nim error

    Hi

try and use your formula auditing tools ie error checking and evaluate if you cant find your error that way upload a sample worksheet.

    To Attach a File:

    1. Click on Go Advanced
    2. In the frame Attach Files you will see the button Manage Attachments
    3. Click the button.
    4. A new window will open titled Manage Attachments - Excel Forum.
    5. Click the Browse... button to locate your file for uploading.
    6. This will open a new window File Upload.
    7. Once you have located the file to upload click the Open button. This window will close.
    8. You are now back in the Manage Attachments - Excel Forum window.
    9. Click the Upload button and wait until the file has uploaded.
    10. Close the window and then click Submit.

    Re: Nim error

    Hi guys,

Yes. I have checked the array by ctrl+shift+enter.

2- In the error dialog box the "trace" error is also not highlighted.

3 - I tried =IF(ISNUMBER(cell to check), my formula,""). But this is not displaying any result as such.

I also apologise for the mistake in the subject line. It should have been NUM error. SORRY!!!!
