How to search for multiple letters, & copy when certain letters are found.

Hello, I'm new to this forum, and would greatly appreciate some help. I'm using excel 2000, and here is the issue:

First off, I attached a screenshot of a portion of what I'm working with. It is a 10,000+ cell document.

If you look at column B, cell 31 for example, after where it says "move your body\" it's a big "C -". Another example would be cell 73, the last one in the bottom, after "Mr. Vain Recall\" there is a big "A -". If you look at all the cells, in all of them you will find a special single letter/number at the beginning of the actual filename. One last example: cell# 40's filename is "D - 02 You Let Me Down [dance mix].wav", and as you can see there is a "D -" at the beginning of it.

    The special unique characters are the following: 1 -, 2 -, 3 -, 4 -, 5 -, A -, B -, C -, D -, E -, F -, G -.

What I want to do is the following:
I need something, whether it be a macro, formula or anything that can search each cell from column B for ALL the special characters at once, and if it finds one of the special characters, to copy or show the special character in column C. So, for example, if you look at cell numbers 31 through 35, the proposed formula would search them, find "C -", "C -", "G -", "G -", and "1 -" and place them on column C, right beside the cell it found them in.

These characters, if searched as "C -" for example, are UNIQUE in each filename. There is no other string in any of the filenames with the space and - after a letter.

If there is something that can do an entire column at once, that would be even better, but I think that would be asking too much

I hope someone here can help me, I would greatly appreciate it. If you need more information, please let me know because I will be checking this post often.

    Thank you in advance!

Unfortunately the \ varies when it appears, BUT the constant thing is that the special characters do appear after a \ in every cell.
