    Unhappy Transfer data to column "A" from column "C"

    Hi Every one,
    If someone can help me with following.
    I have two columns "A"&"C"
    I want to paste data from column "c" to "A" but in specified cells (cells containing * sign as shown below).
    Required data example also given in the end of this query.

    You posted this question in the Formulas sub forum, but pretty sure you might require a macro...

    Based on the little sample posted, maybe...

    Look at the code in post #3. Does it do for you what you require?

    I am not able try this one as i am not familiar with "macro"
    can you help me other than macros?

    No sorry I do not know of a formula that will do this for you.

    Place in normal module
    • Where to paste code
    • Highlight macro to copy >> Ctrl + C >> Open your workbook
    • Alt + F11 >> opens the Visual Basic Editor (VBE)
    • Ctrl + R >>opens the Project Explorer (if not already open on left side of screen)
    • Insert menu >> Module or Alt + I, M >> activates the Insert menu and inserts a Standard Module
    • Paste code >> Ctrl + V (right side of screen)
    • Alt + Q >> exits VBE and returns to Excel
    • Back in Excel >> Alt + F8 >> Macro Dialog Box >> Highlight macro >> Run
