Hoping someone can help me with this - I am attaching an excel spread sheet with the results that I need and I am having a problem coming up with an IF function for the Inventory On Hand Column as when you either purchase inventory or you sell it, the avaerage cost will change. Any help would be much appreciated.
i check your file....but tell me first do you want to use weighted avg. method or simple average method....?

dear simple average method means simple price average method....it means if you buy "A" item with Rs. 22 per unit and next time if you buy the same item with Rs. 26 then their av. cost would be 24 but your data is showing the same is 25.42 how? dats y its seems weighted Average Method.
