I have everything in one file which turns out to be 19 tabs. Can you do a word count on a tab? in one tab I have over 5,000 rows so I can't do a word count row by row. I know Word does a word count but how about Excel?

hi lostsoul65. this might help too. assuming data is in A1:H5000, then:
=SUMPRODUCT((LEN(TRIM(A1:H5000))-LEN(SUBSTITUTE(TRIM(A1:H5000)," ",""))+1)*(TRIM(A1:H5000)<>""))
