Sorting or identifying dates within a cell to be sorted

Hello everyone. First time post....

I'm trying to sort on cells that contain dates. I want to sort on just those dates within the cell. If I could even identify those cells with a specific date range like 02/01/13-02/28/13 that would be helpful. Any help would be appreciated.

I've attached a small sample of what I'm trying to do on a mass level.

It looks like this is some sort of computer output. Many fields have been concatenated into one big string.
The first thing to do will be to either get the data in another format so you can have one field per column in Excel or have a macro that will extract relevant information from this big string. Not an easy task as data do not seems to be consistant. I think I saw dates with mm/yy format and others in mm/dd/yy format.

Thanks for your reply. I tried the space method in text to columns but some of the dates were put in more than just one column. I might try the macro route.
