    Highlighting Weekend Dates

    Hi,

    I have to highlight the dates which falls on Saturday and Sunday in the attached sheet. How can i do it by using conditional formatting. Please help.

    use formula option of
    =OR(WEEKDAY(B2)=1,WEEKDAY(B2)=7)

    Hi,

    Thanks for the answer.But I need to update this in the other colum where which gives the resulst of true and flalse. If i update the same in conditional format it will not highlight those weekend days...Any Idea to highlight through conditional formating?

    Hi Big Dingo

    Select Column B or a range of cells in Column B ie: B1:B100. Go to the Home Tab > Conditional Formatting > New rule > Use a formula to determine which cells to format > Enter your formula and select your required formatting. See attached picture.
