Need to change a table arrangement

    Capture.jpg

    Hello,

This is my first post so how tips on how I can better pose this question are welcome.

I have a table with names down the side and times across the top. In the middle are numbers.

What is the best way to change the table to show the numbers down the side, times across the top, and the names in middle?

(the numbers refer to places that the people have to be at at certain times, but I want to be able to show who is at certain place throughout the day)

I have attached a screen shot showing what I mean, and a formula shown only gets the first column right when I use it (I see why, but don't know the best way to proceed.

I have been trying nested ifs, arrays, lookup, etc... but don't quite get it yet.

    Thanks for your help!

try this in P2 then copy down and across
    =INDEX($D$2:$D$10,MATCH($O2,E$2:E$10,0))
