hiding a cascading drop down list

I would like to have a cascading drop down list where the first list is either hidden or off the page when printed.
So if I was to create a list where a1 is countries with usa, canada, and a2 would be states/provinces, I would only want the states/provinces to show up on the sheet.

use named lists in a "data" sheet, use the named lists as the data validation references...??

    Hope this helps
A picture may be worth a thousand words, BUT, a sample Workbook is worth a thousand screenshots!

A "Data" sheet is a sparate sheet from the one you are working on that contains the "data" you need for the job...ie if you have a bunch of repetitive data, tasks or 'data', use lists to create them on a separate worksheet, use theas references, rather than manually selectig the same info all the time
    Hope this Helps
