Hello,
I'm working on a project where I have to set up new bin locations in a warehouse. I have an excel sheet and I want to use the drag function (where you highlight a cell or cells and grab the corner to drag it down) to complete a series of number/letters.
Here is the format I want to follow:
A1L1
A1L2
A1L3
A1L4
A2L1
....L4
B1L1
.
.
Any help is GREATLY appreciated as it will save me hours of typing!

A picture may be worth a thousand words, BUT, a sample Workbook is worth a thousand screenshots!
-Add a File - click advanced (next to quick post), scroll to manage attachments, click, select add files, click select files, select file, click upload, when file shows up at bottom left, click done (bottom right), click submit
-To mark thread Solved- go top of thread,click Thread Tools,click Mark as Solved

Do you want them all in same column, or would you like the doubled letters to start in their own columns?...the basic idea is all the same though...if you actually check out what I've already given you, it all works out to the same thing!
