    Calculate break based on hours worked.

    In my excel file I’m having trouble getting the system to calculate how long my break will be based on the hours I work. My contract is flexible so every day can be quite different.

    I need a way of calculating my break based on these parameters.

    Hours worked Break entitled
    <4:45 -------- 00:00
    >=4:45 ------ 00:15
    >=6:00 ------ 00:30
    >=8:15 ------ 00:45

    Attached is my file, and the problem highlighted.

    I also have no lunch clock in or out. The main thing I want from this file is only having to enter what time I start and what time I finish.

    Hi RAS 2112

    One way is to use the VLOOKUP, see the attached. In J6 and copied down.
