I'm using Excel 2010 with Windows 7. I tried to do a "Find All" for formulas and for values, on a value which I know appears somewhere in two of the cells. Here's what happened:
I clicked Ctrl+F, entered the text in the box, clicked on "Find All", with Options By Sheet, By Rows, Formulas. (I also tried by Values.)
Excel started repeatedly searching cells A1 thru S45 (the Last Cell). Each time it got to the first of the two cells containing the searched text, it listed this "found" cell again, and then searched again from A1 thru S45, and never got out of the loop. When I clicked Esc, it indicated "108,457 cell(s) found"; of course, that was the self-same cell 108,457 times! It never found the second one at all.
I tried starting Excel in Safe Mode, and got the same problem.
Anyone have a clue to how to fix this issue? Thanks!
