    counting occurrences

    Hello,
I need some assistance to this basic query. I have dates (Col A) which has some repetitive dates and Col B has a priority.
I need to add up the priorities for each new dates. Any suggestions would be helpful. Pl. note I am newbie to Excel.
    See the attachement. for clarification.
