    Use vlookup only for first 41 character.

    Hi Team

    I have a problem with vlookup anybody help greatly apprciate.
    i have attached sample workbook,with output.

    =LEFT(VLOOKUP(A2,Sheet1!$A:$B,2,0),41)

    Unable to understand your problem.

    If you are looking to extract 41 Chars from "SALED ORDER NUMBER" you can just use LEFT(B2,41) and then apply the Vlookup function.
