    merge row information

    Dear forum members,
The data set in the attachmentrepresents a plant species (A) which was sampled at different sites. presence and absence of the plant per site are indicated as 0 and 1 (absence and presence).
I would like to merge the information from row 2-5 (see attachment) so that all information of presence/absence is shown in row 5 (plants occur at site 1,2,3 and 5) and that i can delete the other rows. Important is that the values are not added up. I would like to have only 0 and 1 as absence and presence values. Could anyone help me? What kind of formula is needed here to merge the presence/absence information and show it all in row 5? I was trying to create a formula with "countif" but it did not work out.

    Thank you very much
    Michael
