I'm running a fantasy formula 1 game and i want to find out what the best possible team is. Rules are you need to pick 6 drivers from a possible 22. Is there a way of getting excel to list out all the possible combinations. I could then calculate the points for each of those teams. Doesn't feel that efficient but it would work.

Are you aware quite how many possible teams that would be?
A little over 74 thousand! That's a lot of calculating. Perhaps a different approach to this might be wise...

hmm, I don't mind if it took a while to compute, I'd only do it once every 2 weeks. Maybe i need to use some other software, matlab maybe? Just thought there was probably a way a knife and forking it?
There is VBA code out there that you could adapt to do what you want.
Just search down the back of the internet for "Excel list combinations" and you'll find loads. No doubt there are even several in amongst the back posts of this very forum.
I'm no good with VBA so I can't provide one for you I'm afraid.
