    Conditional formatting on a percentage

    Hi people,

I have been searching for a solution to my conditional formatting problem...but can't find a similar scenario...and i suspect it's something very straight forward.

I want to apply the 3 colour conditional formatting to a single cell.

I have a few cells with a percentage.

I simply want a colour gradient from Green to Red, 0% being Green / 100% Red / 50% Yellow

I can only get it to work, when I use a range of cells...but I need it to apply to a single cell only.

Other cells will be the opposite (Green = 100%, Red 0% etc...)

    Thanks in advance guys!!

Change it to number from 0 to .5 to 1. Just format the cell as Percentage.
    Does that work for you?

Highlight the cell for the conditional formatting.
Choose 'Format all cells based on their values'
    Choose 3-Color scale
Change the types of Minimum, Midpoint, and Maximum to Number
Put values of 0, 0.5, and 1, respectively

    Thanks guys!

That worked...knew it would be something simple. I was putting 50 and 100, not 0.5 and 1.

    Thanks again!
