Averaging data from column with filters applied..

    Hi Excel Guru's

Attached is a sample worksheet of the issue I am having.
There are comments on the worksheet that explain what I am trying to achieve.
It's basically an issue with filters, averages and error values...

To make matters a little more complex, I am working in Excel 97-2003..

    Any help is gratefully received.

CSE, aka Array aka { }, formulae are confirmed with CONTROL+SHIFT+ENTER.
Replace commas ( , ) with semicolons ( ; ) in formulae, if your locale setting demands.
All good ideas are courtesy resources from this forum as well as others around the web.

That's just about what I need. Your formula works a treat. I have gotten around the 'disappearing with the filter' issue with a couple of buttons and macros..
    Many thanks..
