How do I group daily totals into weekly/monthly/quarterly totals

    Hi,

I have been trawling through the forums for hours trying to find the answer to the problem currently melting my brain..I am sure there is an easy solution, but I have been staring at this for so long that I am at my wits end.

I have a spreadsheet for recording various shops performance against targets on a daily basis, I need to be able to produce an overview report on a daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly basis showing the main drivers only. I have produced a pivot table, however I cannot work out how to group the dates into weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly groups easily.

Any help GREATLY appreciated, please see the attached simplified version as a guide.

Thanks again, I am sure this is an easy one but I am lost...apols in advance.

Add the dates to the row labels - Right click this field - Select Group - Select The way(s) you want it grouped
To group by week slect " Group by days" then enter 7 in the "number of days " box
