Lock Conditional Formating
I have a range of cells with one conditional format and a second adjacent range with a diferent conditinal format. If I drag text from one range to the other, the formatting becomes corupted. Is there a way to prevent this? I know I can avoid this by copying and pasting and then clear the previous copied but I work with volunteers who can't seem to understand the limitations. I need something that's error proof.
Conditional Formatting is very delicate; there is no solution except for using VBA.

CSE, aka Array aka { }, formulae are confirmed with CONTROL+SHIFT+ENTER.
Replace commas ( , ) with semicolons ( ; ) in formulae, if your locale setting demands.

This is 1 of the more annoying aspects of 2007, the way CF has of doubling - and even trippling - the CF rules if you copy cells
