Betting odds conversion from fractions to percentages

I can find a formula of converting betting odds to percentages.

Win Draw Los
7/50 373/50 1673/100

This fomula (1-7/7+50)*100= 87.72 % - how to make this to excel formula ???????

I would appreciate it someone's help.........

what's the logic behind that formula? 7/50 is 14%?

When I enter that equation in Excel as a formula:

=(1-7/7+50)*100

The result is 5000 which is nowhere near 87.72%.

Show us the calculation steps that it takes to arrive at 87.72%.

7/50 = 87,72% 373/50= 11.82% 1673/100=5.64%

loss: (1-1673/1673+100)= 5.64%

its a probablity percentage that football club will win, draw, or lose

7/50 fraction trying to change to percentage probability of 50/(50+7)=88%

I can't make an excel formula of this 50/(50+7)=88%

You keep repeating the same information. Can you provide a link to a web page that explains what the heck you're talking about?

The formula = 50/(50+7) returns 88%.

Maybe this...

A2 = 7/50

=MID(A2,FIND("/",A2)+1,10)/(MID(A2,FIND("/",A2)+1,10)+LEFT(A2,FIND("/",A2)-1))

If you want to round it to 2 decimal places:

=ROUND(MID(A2,FIND("/",A2)+1,10)/(MID(A2,FIND("/",A2)+1,10)+LEFT(A2,FIND("/",A2)-1)),4)

Format as Percentage 2 decimal places.
