    Conditional Formatting based on a Date Cell and a text Cell.

    Hello Forum,

    I have searched high and low for guidance on this problem but can not quite solve it.

    I am trying to format a cell (G:G) based on if cell range (F:F) displaying dates is in the past and the cell range (G:G) displaying status reads 'pending'.

    I hope that makes sense

    Regards,

    Tom

    =and($f1<today(),$g1="pending")

    Something like this in Conditional Formatting rules?

    Hello Fotis, Thanks for the help.

    I thought it had worked originally however as you can see it has formatted random cells... if you can see the attached image I am trying to format the cells that say pending relation to the cell to the left if it is in the past

    As you are dealing with dates, a small sample sheet would help more than a picture, however colorful.

    BTW INT(NOW()) is the same as TODAY()
