getting the min date and max date from a range after meeting multiple conditions

Hi All,

Excel forum has been the best resource for multiple kinds of mysteries for me...long been a member and is now posting my first question ever. Here goes...

I have a set of people who are floaters, i need to know the date ranges when they are assigned to a specific place. For example:

Person Assigned Place Date Range
Person 1 Place 1 Feb 1 - 4
Person 1 Place 2 Feb 5
Person 1 Place 1 Feb 6
Person 2 Place 3 Feb 1 - 2
and so on...this is what i want them to look like

The data where this would come from is their assignment on a daily basis, i would need to group them by date ranges.

I do hope someone can help...im pretty sure someone can and i hope i explained correctly.
