Excel 2013, Formula entry with two windows.

    Hi All

At the moment I have a issue with Excel 2013, with reference to two windows open and formula entry problem. Note: This does not occur with excel 2003, 2007 or 2010.

If I enter a formula on say sheet1 and refer to sheet2 for ranges etc using the mouse.
Say for example: =INDEX(Sheet2!$C$2:$C$100,MATCH($G$1,Sheet1!$C$2:$C$100,0) and when I get to this stage before I finish, I decide to enter the IFERROR as well, so I click after the "=" (No problem!) and key "I". The formula autocomplete does not appear! and the cursor goes straight to the end of the formula! I click again to place the cursor and type "F" ditto the same happens again etc. (After clicking on sheet2 a couple of times, it is OK)

So what I am wondering! Has anyone else have the same issue! Could this be a bug with 2003! This occurs on both my PC & Laptop.

I am in the process of dealing with the microsoft support dept!!

Sometimes these support sites are as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike!

They even told me to do a reboot, I don't know how that is going to affect my laptop, as that is turned off!

Apologies if I have gone on a bit.
    Regards Kevin

    Not many answers!

Anyway. After few e-mails and Microsoft doing a number of hours remote desktop. Trying to re-install etc. What got me is they kept on saying a reboot, even when I told them it was the same on two other machines!
They have finally informed me that there is a problem/bug! So now awaiting to find out the outcome.

i will post again when I get more info, for anyone who is interested!
