Search for a value and autopopulate the next 2 cells.

I am an excel novice so I am looking for some assistance.

I am looking for a formula that will compare a value from column Page 1 (A) with the value from a list in Column (A) on another sheet within the workbook, I then want it to auto populate cells on page 1 columns (B and C) with the values in (B and C) that are to the right of the found value.

The desired output is thus:
I wish to type in a part number on page one column (A)
I want to compare that value with a list of part numbers on another page called (Parts) in the workbook. Once found, I want to autopoulate columns (B: Location and C: Nomenclature) on page 1 with the values to the right of the same value in column (A) on the (Parts) page.

Search = A: 123456

Returns A: 123456 B: Drawer 125 C: Widget, Chrome Plated

Basicaly what I am looking for is the ability to enter a number into column A on the PARTS sheet with a formula that will search a range of numbers in column A on the LOCATIONS sheet and autopopulate columns B and C with the Location and Nomenclature that match that part number on the PARTS sheet. I figured it was vlookup formula but I can not get it to search a range in column A and return the information to the right in B and C.
