    Angry Dinamic List with group by

    Hi All,

    This its my first post; I'm really new with the advanced excel formulas. I was looking in other forums for something like this but i don't get any answered;
    hope you can help with this that i'm trying to get.

    I want to get like a summary for a table that i have... they way that I think I can get this information is doing like a dinamic list that show the data "Grouping by [Column1], [Column2], [etc.]" over the table; but i'm not sure its possible.

    Example.PNG

    Attached is a excel file with the table that I have and what i want to get.

    Sample Data.xlsx

    Thanks for your help and sorry for my english

    Hi and welcome to the forum

    Heres what I did. I did this manually, but you could record a macro to do it automatically.

    I copied your table off to the side - you could do this in the original table if you dont mind losing it, or you could just copy it some place else - then used "remove duplicates" and ended up with the same as the table you have on the right.

    And by the way, your profile says 2003, but the file you uploaded is at least 2007??

    Hello,

    I was hesitating to post an answer until FDibbins pointed out that your sample is .xlsx ... The reason is that, in my formula I used COUNTIFS, which is only available for Excel 2007 and later.

    Here is a glace at the formula

    I know it is not elegant, but it does the job.

    Here is a sample file with formula that will automatically pull unique data out of your table. All you have to do is dragging the formula down as far as you see blank (In the sample file attached, I dragged it down to row 12).

    All of the formulas are Array, so make sure if you copy paste / edit it, hold Ctrl-Shift and hit Enter if you want to enter it (If you do it right, you will see the formula wrapped inside a { } ).
