Copying formula from one worksheet to another

    Hello,

I'm trying to copy an excel formula from one worksheet to another so that the column stays relative but the row stays fixed

    So I'm looking at
    'Worksheet2'!B3='Worksheet1'!B1
    'Worksheet2'!B4='Worksheet1'!C1
    'Worksheet2'!B5='Worksheet1'!D1
    'Worksheet2'!B6='Worksheet1'!E1

I've tried setting the row with a $, but when I copy and paste the formula down the "B" column of Worksheet2, it just keeps bringing back the results of 'Worksheet1'!B1 without changing either the row or the column.

    Any help is much appreciated!

    Put this in B3:

    =INDEX('Worksheet1'!$1:$1,ROWS($1:2))

    then copy down.

    Hope this helps.
