I have a list of 50 items and 6 columns of information within the list of 50 items. I inserted a Scroll Bar (Form Control), and below is the information I entered:
Current Value: 1
Minimum Value: 1
Maximum Value: 27
Incremental Change: 5
Page change: 0
Cell link: 'Supply Chain Data'!$K$1
3-D Shading is checked.
I used this formula
for all cells attached to the scroll bar. The data that the =OFFSET formula pulls from is on another sheet within the same workbook, and that sheets gets its information from another workbook on a network drive. I have tried pasting values only into the sheet thinking that maybe pulling the data from another workbook over the network was causing the lag, but I still get the same result.
What's odd is that the lag is random, sometimes it works flawlessly when I use the scroll bar, and other time it lags bad. I have tired only having 1 workbook open at a time, and that doesn't help either.
If there is no way to fix the lag is there another way I can display the information in Excel that is similar to the scroll bar?
