    How to use drop down menu to populate data to other sheets

    Thanks for all of your help, you've been great.

    So, I got data that is being entered daily in 5 columns. What I have is different sheets for each day of the month where I manually copy processed data from sheet1 to other sheets depending on the day of the month...

    sheet1-processed data
    may-1, may2, etc for the sheets for each month to save processed data to.

    What I would like to do, is to add drop down selection in sheet1 above processed data, to be able to select day of the month sheet, and submit or load "ProcessedDataTable" from sheet1 into specified column selection of selected sheet.

    Any guidance?

    1st, I would question why you have a sheet for each day of the month? It would probably be far simpler and easier if you had all your data in 1 sheet, as a data base, and then ran summaries on other sheets?

    Thanks for asking. Problem is, my data is 1,500 rows down for each day, i have script that filters some of it out, but the rest need to save it to other sheets as a record and possibly monthly comparison/analisys.

    you have 2007, that has over a million rows available. 1500*31 is less than 50 000 (46000)

    Thanks for advice, after thinking about it, I guess I could do it all at once... Now, how can up pull specific data into another sheet (date specific).

    I got 5 columns that I work with, and one of the columns is DATE, that will have different dates in it, formatted 05-01, 05-02, 06-01, and so on. In another sheet, I would like to have drop down of some sort to select available date, and show all data that has that date in that column...

    Any help?
