    Conditionally Format Exact Text

    Hi,

This is my first post and I must say this forum has been a great help to me prior to signing up, so thanks!

I am currently having issues trying to conditionally format exact text. I have one condition that is set to format specific text in RED if the cell contains the word No. It generally works fine, however, it also highlights the name O'Connor.

Is there a way around this?

    Appreciated.

It sounds like your formula is using wildcards

If you want to be very specific then the CF formula in A1 should read................. = A1="No"
    Elegant Simplicity............. Not Always
