Calculate total amouth by group

In one worksheet I have several groups

P AND P
UNDERCAR
COMMODITY AND SEASONAL
TUNE UP AND FUEL

On an other worksheet I have a data table that has group name in a column and the total sales for each group, however
since there are different items for a group you might see the same group with in column1 (see example file below)

Looks like it worked!!!

I had used the SUMIF, but I didnt really know how to use it and I was putting in the sales first then the group. Not very familiar with that function.
I also thought there was a VLOOKUP involved that is why I decided to ask since I didnt know how to format the formula
